Three stories of thanks

As we celebrate the season of giving, it's a good idea to take pause and recognize things we are thankful for. This month we share three stories of thanks from a member, a farmer and a partner.

Embattled farmers: 1776 and 2003

On Election Day, remember to vote. And remember the farmers who won that right for us ... American farmers in the English colonies were expected to produce for the colonizers. They endured low prices, inadequate credit, high taxes, large debts, and the dumping of excess English foodstuffs on their local market.
