Naughty Nellie beer — the local, Pike Brewing Company has returned to form — and its Naughty Nellie Golden Ale has returned to PCC. This crisp, delicious, well-hopped ale is made with organic barley and hops and is a superb way to celebrate a fine spring day.

Eel River Organic beef — One hundred percent grass-fed-and-finished beef from a family-owned operation in northern California. Lean, with mild undertones of sweetness from the grass diet.

Organic cantaloupe, honeydew, Galia melons, and watermelon — the first organic melons of the year, from premier certified organic farmers in California and/or Mexico.

Organic Emmer (farro) — a firm and chewy ancient grain similar to spelt, farro will be featured in PCC deli salads this month. Grown locally by Blue Bird Grain Farms in eastern Washington, this farro also will be sold packaged to cook at home.

Mighty-O Lemon Pop mini donuts — a seasonal treat, made locally with organic ingredients. No hydrogenated oils (no trans fat!), cholesterol free.

Me & Mom’s hats — Spring/summer handmade hats from Lynnwood, Wash.

Alter Eco Chocolate Bars — made according to Swiss traditions with certified Fair Trade and organic ingredients. Selections include a range of choices — from an 85 percent cocoa bar to hazelnut milk chocolate.

Edwards and Sons organic breadcrumbs — Choose from Italian, lightly salted, and panko crumbs. Find them in the bread section.

Heatsong Pepper Brews — refreshing beverages brewed with hot peppers. Choose from Habañero Honey Brew, Thai Dragon Tonic, and Maté Fire. Find them in the cold beverage case.

Cha Dao Teas — locally produced, ready to drink. Made with whole leaf teas, all freshly brewed under exacting time and temperatures. Find them in the cold beverage case.
