PCC Shopper Notice
Product recall: 11-ounce, single serve bottles of Chocolate Silk Soymilk

PCC is advising shoppers to return any 11-ounce, single serve bottles of Chocolate Silk Soymilk due to the potential presence of milk in this lactose-free product.
Rigorous testing of product samples has not detected the presence of milk. The product manufacturer has voluntarily issued this recall in response to isolated reports from consumers.
If this Silk Soymilk product were to contain milk, risk is only present to a consumer with a milk allergy. Milk allergy is a food allergy defined as an adverse immune reaction to a food protein that is normally harmless to the non-allergic individual. The principal symptoms of an allergic reaction to milk in an allergic individual are gastrointestinal, dermatological and respiratory issues.
