Winter skin care
With cold temperatures and dry air, wintertime can be the skin's worst enemy. Thankfully, there are a multitude of natural products to help moisturize and nourish the body's largest organ.
Coconut oil, cocoa butter and shea butter are key ingredients that contain essential oils, vitamins A, C, D and E, and protein to protect and restore your skin. Oil-based moisturizers also are a better choice during the colder months instead of lotion, as oil helps your skin retain moisture. Of course wearing gloves, layering clothes, drinking plenty of water and using a humidifier also can help your skin stay healthy and hydrated.
