PCC | Locally produced body care

Locally produced body care

While most people know that PCC aims to provide you with a plethora of produce grown by local farmers, we also make a serious effort to offer as many locally made health and body care products as possible. Our local vendors make everything from soap to essential oils, vitamins and supplements to lotions and candles.

Not only are these products of top quality, made with all-natural and organic ingredients and produced using sustainable methods, but your purchase directly affects our local economy, helping to ensure the vitality of our communities.

PRODUCER PROFILE
Ballard Organics

Actually based in the U-district, Ballard Organics crafts soap that is certified organic, and the company is Washington's first and only soap manufacturer to have this certification.

Ballard Organics uses 100-percent pure essential oils to scent its soaps and combines its ingredients by hand. All products are free of animal products, synthetic fragrances, artificial preservatives and dyes.

The soap is mild, yet does a great job cleaning, whether used on the face, body or for all-purpose household uses. We like it so much we've chosen to use it in the restrooms in each of our nine stores.
