While bath time or teeth brushing or vitamin taking often can be a struggle between parent and child, PCC Kid Picks is working to make these processes a little easier.
In addition to figuring out which food items kids will love, PCC Kid Picks has created innovative ways to have kids test out health and body care products. Along with letting kids try out different toothpastes at special events, Kid Picks staff allow children to test out shampoos and soaps on dolls and toy horses in buckets of water. From bubble bath to vitamins, lotion to lip balm, we have a variety of health and body care products that have been kid-tested and approved.
Bubble bath/soap — Make bath time fun with the addition of all-natural suds. Try Dr. Bronner's Baby-Mild Soap which is unscented and contains certified organic essential oils.
Vitamins — With all kinds of flavored, gummy options, there's sure to be a vitamin your child will like. Nordic Naturals offers the popular Nordic Berries which are rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants and have a sweet-and-sour citrus taste. The Nordic Omega-3 Gummies offer the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA which support development of the brain, eyes and nervous and immune systems. With a tangerine flavor, they nicely complement Nordic Berries. For vitamin D try Rainbow Light's Sunny Gummies and for calcium, try Nutrition Now's Rhino Gummy Calci-Bears.
Lotion/lip balm — For soothing dry skin try Honey Calendula Ultra Moisturizer from Kiss My Face. This gentle formula is great for little ones, as well as Weleda's Calendula Baby Cream which also utilizes the flower that soothes and softens. When it comes to chapped lips, kids gave a thumbs up to Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm which is loaded with coconut and sunflower oils, along with Burt's Bees Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil which is infused with the antioxidant benefits of pomegranates.
