Sureyya Gokeri, PCC Cooks Instructor
Sureyya Gokeri is from Turkey close to the Syrian border on the coast, where Turkish food is a blend of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern styles. She loves the richness and uniqueness of her culture and kitchen and is generous with her knowledge of healthy ingredients and quick cooking techniques. She and her husband run Cafe Turko, a restaurant and gift shop in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle. She loves dealing with people every day, but says that it’s more fun to cook!
