Dinner Events with Wine
These informal, informative dinners explore food and drink, matching wine with a dish and alternately creating a dish to complement the beverage. Each course is accompanied by two selections to illustrate the pairing possibilities. Selections subject to change depending upon whim, inspiration and availability of luscious new arrivals.
REGISTRATION PROCEDURE (CLOSED): We want everyone to have an opportunity to enjoy these dinners. Because of the high demand and limited seating, registrants will be entered into a drawing for seats. Entries will be randomly drawn on April 23 for all dinner events; we will contact you the last week of April if we draw your name.

Our Favorite Leviathan
Lynne Vea, Jeff Cox
Fish worship — is it wrong? With apologies to Ray Troll, we think not. We pay our annual homage to wild Alaskan salmon with Crispy Wild Salmon Frites; Seared Tomato, Fennel and Arbequino Olive Oil Gazpacho; and Chipotle and Pumpkin Seed-crusted Medallions of Wild Salmon. We'll finally indulge in Fresh Blueberry and Cointreau Crème Brulee, and harmonize each dish with a selection of wines from our favorite Washington and Oregon producers. With seafood, dairy and eggs.

Bastille Day au Sud
Lynne Vea, Jeff Cox
Not that we need a reason, but Bastille Day is a fine opportunity to celebrate independence with a few of our favorite things from France's Languedoc region. We'll feature a diverse palette of wines imported exclusively for PCC with Savory Goat Cheese and Heirloom Tomato Tart; Soupe Bourride (rustic seafood soup with garlic butter croutons); Roast Duckling with Sausages; and Stuffed Peppers and Eggplant. Our sweet finale is Apricot Clafoutis with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. With poultry, seafood, dairy and eggs.
Members: $50, Non-members: $55
Includes $5 for beer tasting. Twenty-one and over.
- Thursday, July 8, 6;30 to 9 p.m., Edmonds
Al Fresco on the Upper Left Coast
Lynne Vea, Jeff Cox
There's no place like here in late summer. Join us in celebrating the fruits of the season and savor Gorgonzola and Walnut-stuffed Radicchio on the grill; Halibut Cannelloni with Sweet Red Pepper Pesto; Green Garlic Roast Lamb with Balsamic-candied Cherry Tomatoes; and a Triple Lemon Torte with Cognac-flamed Plums and Blackberries. To accompany and accent these amazing dishes, we'll taste character-laden wines made by some of our favorite producers, from here and around the world. With meat, seafood, dairy and eggs.
