Prep for Success!
For ages 11 to 15, without adult accompaniment. Prepping for success leads to culinary success! In this class you’ll learn kitchen basics, the importance of mise en place (everything in place), knife skills and cooking techniques. You’ll work with various kitchen tools and ingredients to create four Latin-inspired recipes. You’ll make a fresh and Spicy Salsa from scratch, followed by a Sweet Potato and Black Bean Salad and Enchiladas Verdes with chicken and vegetarian options; and finish with fresh Tropical Fruit Smoothies. You can re-create these dishes at home with your new skills and impress your family with the amazing flavors. Vegetarian, with poultry and dairy options; no eggs or gluten.
