Easy as Pie: Winter Savories

Pie isn’t just for dessert! Barbara is bringing back her popular savory pie class, where she will teach you the secrets of making a flaky pie crust and fill it with savory ingredients. After an easy food-processor crust demonstration by Barbara, each student will make a Roasted Garlic and Onion Tart to take home. You’ll also receive recipes for savory pie fillings, including Apple-Bacon-Rocquefort Pie and Chicken and Vegetable Galette. Vegetarian, with poultry optional (in bonus recipe), seafood optional (anchovies in the onion tart), dairy and eggs. Class size limited to 12.
