variations on pear tea bread
Thanks for you comments! I just wanted to mention that since it's (finally) summer, this bread can be made with juicy seasonal fruits like plums or nectarines. Don't even bother to peel the fruit, just chop it and substitute in the same amount for the pears.
Cheers!

Pear Tea Bread
Looks like a lovely recipe, but I have a question. Can you tell me how much the pears add in cups? I'd like to substitute fruit (my husband doesn't like pears), but I don't have a clue how much of whatever fruit to use.
Thanks much!

RE: Pear Tea Bread
Hi Trapper,
Thanks for your question. The recipe calls for 2 juicy ripe pears, seeded and chopped. Hope that helps with planning a fruit substittion.

Background Decor
Aren't they beautiful? Those are Le Creuset mixing bowls which our culinary program purchased in bulk from a wholesale source. Let me do a little research to see if I can determine a local retailer. You might try a Bing search to see if they are available on line.
