Tofu is the perfect food for marinating. Its silky texture soaks up the flavors and allows them to shine. I love to combine this recipe with a few bright ingredients such as udon noodles, cilantro and carrots for a super fresh and healthy salad.
Ingredients
- 1/2 pound firm tofu Add to list
- 1/3 cup fresh orange juice Add to list
- Zest of 1 orange Add to list
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce Add to list
- 3 cloves garlic, minced Add to list
- 2 tablespoons sliced green onion Add to list
- Pinch chili flakes Add to list
- 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil Add to list
Preparation
Cut the tofu into bite-sized cubes and place in a bowl.
Combine the rest of the ingredients and pour over the tofu. Allow to marinate for at least 1 hour and up to overnight. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
