Use this blend in the recipe for Roasted Pumpkin, Sugar and Spice Tart.
Ingredients
To grind your own spices
- 1 stick cinnamon, crushed Add to list
- 1/4 teaspoon clove buds Add to list
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice berries Add to list
- 1/4 teaspoon shaved nutmeg Add to list
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger Add to list
For pre-ground spice mixture
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon Add to list
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg Add to list
- 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice Add to list
- 1/4 teaspoon ground clove Add to list
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger Add to list
Preparation
To grind your own spices
Combine all of the spices in a grinder and grind to a fine powder.
For pre-ground spice mixture
Combine.
