Peas with Prosciutto

Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons butter Add to list
- 1 shallot, chopped Add to list
- 1 pound green peas (frozen or fresh) Add to list
- Salt and pepper to taste Add to list
- 3 to 4 thin slices of prosciutto, cut to bite-sized pieces Add to list
Preparation
Melt about half of the butter in a large skillet. Add the shallot and soften.
Add the peas and stir. Add the rest of the butter and season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the peas are tender.
Mix in the prosciutto, and cook until the pieces curl and twist up, about 5 minutes.
Season with more salt and pepper as needed.
