Mixed Berry Coulis
Yield: about 1 cup
Any variety of fresh or frozen berries can be used in this tangy-sweet sauce. Serve with pound cake, Greek-style yogurt or panna cotta.
Process fruit and sugar in a food processor or blender until smooth. Pass coulis through a strainer to remove seeds. Correct seasoning with a little more sugar or lemon juice, if desired. Can be made one day ahead.
