Mixed Berry Coulis
This recipe is:
Vegetarian
Corn-free
Peanut-free
Soy-free
Tree nut-free
Any variety of fresh or frozen berries can be used in this tangy-sweet sauce. Serve with pound cake, Greek-style yogurt or panna cotta.
Ingredients
- 2 cups berries Add to list
- 1/2 cup sugar Add to list
- Lemon juice, optional Add to list
Preparation
Process fruit and sugar in a food processor or blender until smooth. Pass coulis through strainer to remove seeds. Correct seasoning with a little more sugar or lemon juice if desired. Can be made one day ahead.
