MacMahon's Pecan Crescents
This recipe is:
Vegetarian
Corn-free
Egg-free
Peanut-free
Soy-free
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter Add to list
- 1 cup vegetable shortening Add to list
- 2/3 cup sugar Add to list
- 3 1/3 cups flour Add to list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt Add to list
- 1 1/3 cup pecans, finely chopped Add to list
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar Add to list
Preparation
Cream the butter, sugar and shortening until thoroughly combined. Add nuts, flour and salt.
Roll dough, 1 teaspoon at a time, lengthwise and form into half-moon by bending. Place on cookie sheet and bake at 325°F until very lightly brown. Roll in or dust with powdered sugar after cooling.
