Rich flavor and a concentration of healthy omega-3 fatty acids make salmon a Northwest favorite for summertime barbecues. Wild salmon from the cold, clear waters of Northern Alaska is exceptional and needs only a few simple ingredients to make it a delicious meal.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon steaks or fillets Add to list
Marinade:
- 1 large lemon, juiced Add to list
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest Add to list
- 2 tablespoons organic extra-virgin olive oil Add to list
- 1 teaspoon dried dill Add to list
- 1 clove garlic, minced Add to list
Preparation
Place salmon in a shallow bowl. Combine marinade ingredients, pour over salmon, and cover. Refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours.
Grill salmon over medium heat, basting with marinade — about 4 minutes per side or until fish flakes easily.
