Fresh Tuna Steak

Ingredients
- 10 to 12 ounces fresh tuna Add to list
- Olive oil Add to list
- Salt and pepper Add to list
- Fresh thyme leaves Add to list
Preparation
Coat the tuna steak lightly with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with thyme leaves. Cook over a hot outdoor grill (the preferred method) for about 3 to 4 minutes to a side or cook in a heavy sauté pan over medium heat in a little more oil for about 3 to 4 minutes to a side. The tuna should be about 145° F inside when done. Don't overcook it!
