This recipe was served with Salade Niçoise on King 5's New Day Northwest show.



Coat tuna steak lightly with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with thyme leaves.

Cook over a hot outdoor grill (the preferred method) for 3 to 4 minutes to a side or cook in a heavy sauté pan over medium heat in a little more oil for 3 to 4 minutes to a side. The tuna should be about 145° F inside when done. Don't overcook it!
