Fresh Blueberry Compote
Place all of the ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the sauce reduces and thickens to a syrup-like consistency. This will take about 12 minutes. (Blueberries are especially wonderful at creating a silky sauce without any additional thickeners.)
If you are using the compote for Mini Summer Berry Cheesecakes, allow it to cool before adding to the ramekins.
