Blueberries are antioxidant superstars, full of vitamin C, with a tart and tangy flavor that contains just the right amount of sweet. They’re handpicked with care and, thanks to the five different varieties that ripen at different times in our region, we can enjoy an extended season from Many Hands.
Ingredients
- 1 quart of fresh organic blueberries Add to list
- 1 cup chilled heavy cream Add to list
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract or brandy Add to list
- 1 to 2 tablespoons powdered sugar Add to list
Preparation
Arrange blueberries in a serving bowl or beverage glasses. (They look very dramatic served in martini glasses.)
Pour cream into a chilled bowl and whip on high until it is thickened but not peaking. Add sugar and vanilla or brandy. Whip at a slower speed until light peaks form. Top berries with cream to serve.
