Cutting Board Sanitizer
Vinegar and hydrogen peroxide are good disinfectants by themselves, but are more powerful when used together.
Keep separate, clearly labeled spray bottles of distilled white vinegar and 3 percent hydrogen peroxide in the kitchen.
Spray cutting boards with vinegar and then with 3 percent hydrogen peroxide, or vice versa. Wipe dry with a clean cloth.
This works on cutting boards made from any material, but may cause lightening of wood or bamboo boards.
