Creamy Greens Smoothie

Avocado makes this rich and adds heart-healthy fats, while ginger gives it a kick.
Ingredients
- 1 ripe avocado, diced Add to list
- 1 orange, peeled and segmented Add to list
- 2 to 3 leaves dinosaur kale Add to list
- 1-inch knob fresh ginger, thinly sliced Add to list
- A few slices of apple, banana or other fruit of your choice Add to list
- 1/3 to 1/2 cup water, juice or coconut water Add to list
Preparation
Combine avocado, orange, kale, ginger, fruit slices and 1/3 cup water, juice or coconut water in a blender. Blend for about 1 minute to make sure ginger is evenly blended. Add a little more liquid for desired thickness and blend about 15 seconds longer. Drink right away.
Each serving: 250 cal, 15g fat (2g sat), 0mg chol, 20mg sodium, 30g carb, 10g fiber, 4g protein
