Creamy Greens Smoothie
Serves: 2 to 3
Avocado makes this rich and adds heart-healthy fats, while ginger gives it a kick.
Combine avocado, orange, kale, ginger, fruit slices and 1/3 cup water, juice or coconut water in a blender. Blend for about 1 minute to make sure ginger is evenly blended. Add a little more liquid for desired thickness and blend about 15 seconds longer. Drink right away.
Each serving: 250 cal, 15g fat (2g sat), 0mg chol, 20mg sodium, 30g carb, 10g fiber, 4g protein
