Cherry and Hazelnut Salad
This recipe is:

Wheat-free
Locally grown cherries from the Ottes and organic lettuce from our friends at Rent's Due Ranch in Stanwood, Wash., give this salad a delicious homegrown flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh sweet organic cherries, pitted and sliced Add to list
- 6 cups mixed organic lettuce Add to list
- 3/4 cups crumbled Gorgonzola cheese Add to list
- 1/2 cup chopped toasted hazelnuts Add to list
- 1/3 cup vinaigrette salad dressing (home-made or bottled) Add to list
Preparation
In a large bowl, combine cherries, lettuces, cheese and hazelnuts. Just before serving, drizzle salad with vinaigrette and toss lightly.
