Cha Nam Manao Khing (Ginger Limeade)

Ingredients
- 6 cups hot water Add to list
- 4 1-inch ginger pieces, peeled and smashed Add to list
- 1/4 to 1/3 cup brown sugar Add to list
- 1/3 cup lime juice, from 3 to 4 limes Add to list
- 2 limes, sliced, for garnish Add to list
- 4 cups ice cubes Add to list
Preparation
Bring water to a boil in a medium-size pot. Add ginger and let it boil on medium for 15 minutes. Remove ginger and stir in sugar; stir until dissolved. Let cool to room temperature, then stir in lime juice.
In a nice pitcher, decorate lime slices against the sides of the pitcher. Pour in ice cubes, and then pour in limeade.
