Ingredients

Preparation

Wrap tofu in a clean kitchen towel and let stand for 30 minutes to drain excess water.

Mix miso, sugar, mirin, sake and sesame oil together until smooth.

Cut tofu into 8 oblongs. Broil under high heat for about 3 minutes on each side.

Spread the miso mixture over the tofu, sprinkle with sesame seeds and broil under medium heat, until the miso bubbles slightly and is dry on top.

broiled tofu w/miso recipe

Hello, Do you mean a whole cup of miso paste in this recipe? Thanks!

Miso in Broiled Tofu Recipe

You're right to question that. I checked with the author and he has adjusted the miso paste amount to 1/2 cup. We will have that changed in the online recipe.
