Blueberry Kefir Smoothie

Use LaPierre Farms local, organic blueberries available frozen year-round at PCC.
Ingredients
- 1 fresh or frozen banana, peeled and cut into bite-sized chunks Add to list
- 1 cup frozen or fresh blueberries Add to list
- 6 ounces kefir Add to list
- 1 tablespoon ground flax seeds or chia seeds Add to list
- 1 teaspoon honey, or to taste Add to list
- 1/2 cup ice cubes (optional) Add to list
Preparation
Puree all ingredients in a blender. Pour into a tall glass and drink immediately.
each serving: 210 cal, 5g fat (2.5g sat), 15mg chol, 45mg sodium, 38g carb, 7g fiber, 5g protein
