Blue Cheese Beef Burgers
Yield: 3 burgers
Prep time: 20 minutes
Serve these burgers on a bun with your choice of toppings or with a mixed green salad.
In a medium bowl, combine the ground beef, fresh thyme and pepper, and mix well. Divide into 6 equal portions and form into thin, flat patties.
Crumble the blue cheese and place 1/3 of it on three of the patties. Top each with the remaining 3 patties and pinch around the edges to seal.
In a frying pan over medium-low heat, fry the patties in a small amount of oil for about 5 minutes on each side. Sprinkle with salt and freshly ground pepper while cooking.
