Basic Lentils
This recipe is:

Dairy-free
Egg-free
Gluten-free

Soy-free
Tree nut-free
Wheat-free
Ingredients
- 1 cup lentils Add to list
- 2 cups water Add to list
- 1 to 3 inches kombu or wakame (optional) Add to list
Preparation
Rinse lentils well, removing any stones. Add to a pan along with water and kombu. Bring to a boil, cover, then reduce to a simmer for 45 minutes or until soft.
