Basic French Vinaigrette
Yield: about 1/2 cup
With only 4 ingredients, this vinaigrette recipe couldn't get any simpler. If you're feeling adventurous, try adding chopped fresh herbs.
In a bowl, whisk together vinegar, mustard, salt and pepper to taste. Add oil in a stream, whisking vinaigrette until it is emulsified.
