Can't have too many bags

I take pride especially in my older bags from PCC. They have logos and artwork that are no longer used and people recognize them wherever I go! They're always with me and I just love using them all over the community.

meat bags, and insulated bags

I need to have some lined bags that are distinguishable as a "meat bag". I'd like to use them to put my meat purchases that might leak into. I can just throw them in the wash if there is a leak.

Also, I only have one bag (from QFC) that is insulated. I'd love to have another.

Perhaps both of these types of bags would be good for PCC to produce.

Re: Meat bags and insulated bags

Hello toniw! Here's a response from Laurie Albrecht, our marketing director: Thanks for your interest in PCC’s reusable totes. Our recycled plastic totes that we sell at cost at all of our stores could easily be used for meat. They are not machine washable but can be cleaned with soap and water and the meat juices will not permeate the plastic. Our canvas totes are machine washable and could be used for meats but I have seen where the meat juices have stained the bags. We have looked into the insulated bags but have decided not to purchase at this time. The minimum quantities required were very high and some of our stores just don’t have space to offer a wide variety of reusable totes. Along with QFC, Trader Joe’s also offers insulated bags. I’m not sure if I’ve seen them elsewhere.
