My first thought when I read that the Inabas are third-generation farmers was "What happened to the Inabas and their farm during WWII when persons of Japanese ancestry were put in concentration camps?" I think this story needs to be told. I think it is relevant to the wholistic values of our co-op; the sociopolitical history of our food sources is part of Eating Consciously.
