PCC Fremont goes carbon neutral!
March 2007 — PCC Fremont partnered with local advocacy group NetGreen and renewable energy company NativeEnergy to help reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
Over the course of 12 months, the Fremont store produces 50 tons of carbon. PCC Fremont contributed dollars to offset the store's carbon footprint. The offset dollars are being dedicated to NativeEnergy's projects, which focus on using wind turbines and agricultural methane to create renewable energy.
