Deli Helper Clerk

Job Description:
Provide excellent, professional customer service. Basic food preparation. Counter and barista service. Dishwashing and cleaning in the deli and production areas. Packaging and retail merchandising. Ensures department sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards are met. Becomes knowledgeable about deli products, specialty foods, baked goods and prepared foods.

Hours: 28-40 hours per week

Pay: $11.00+/hr, depending on experience

Prerequisites:
Proven ability to provide excellent, professional customer service. Available to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of specialty and prepared foods preferred. Excellent communication, organizational and multitasking skills. Must be able to meet physical demands of the job including standing, bending, twisting and lifting 10-50lbs. regularly. Must be at least 18 years of age.

Job Description:
Main job responsibilities include providing excellent, professional customer service, accurately and efficiently scanning and keying items into register, receiving and processing all payments according to PCC standards, performing basic math skills and proficiency at 10-key, communicating effectively about PCC’s membership and programs, handling merchandise returns, bagging groceries according to PCC bagging guidelines, and maintaining an orderly appearance at the register.

Hours: 28-40 hours per week

Pay: $12.00+/hr, Depending on Experience

Prerequisites:
Proven ability to provide excellent, professional customer service. Must demonstrate basic math skills and proficient at 10-key. Excellent attention to detail and multitasking skills. Must be available to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends. Previous retail or public customer contact experience desired; background in cashiering or retail grocery industry preferred. Must be able to meet physical demands including standing, bending, twisting, repetitive motion, and lifting 10-50lbs. regularly. Must be at least 18 years of age.

A.M. Deli Clerk/Cook

Job Description:
Provides excellent, professional customer service. Produces prepared foods in accordance with PCC recipes. Ensures department sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards are met. Follows department safe food handling procedures. Follows department merchandising standards and procedures. Performs packaging duties. May be in charge of production tasks. May oversee other kitchen staff as assigned. Participates in recipe development and recipe costing. May perform ordering responsibilities.

Prerequisites:
Proven ability to provide excellent, professional customer service. Availability to work a variety of shifts including mornings and weekends. At least 2 years previous production cooking experience required. Familiarity with specialty and prepared foods. Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Sushi Production Cook

Job Description:
Main job responsibilities include providing excellent, professional customer service; being responsible for all aspects of sushi making, including production, ordering and receiving, merchandising, inventory, sanitation, and safety within the sushi station; completing daily preparation work, including preparing all vegetables, rice and other ingredients, including fish, and making sushi to order and for the deli case. May help in other areas of the kitchen as needed.

Pay: $13.20+/hr, depending on experience

Prerequisites:
Proven ability to provide excellent, professional customer service. Ability to produce high quality sushi in a fast paced environment. At least one year experience with sushi making. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
