Job Description:
Provide excellent, professional customer service. Responsible for dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness and order in the deli department. Responsible for cleaning the deli kitchen and service areas. Ensures department sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards are met. Operates all equipment in accordance with PCC standards.

Hours: 28-40 hours per week

Pay: $10.00+/hr, depending on experience

Prerequisites:
Proven ability to provide excellent, professional customer service. Available to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends. Excellent communication, organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to meet physical demands including standing, bending, twisting, repetitive motion and lifting 10–50lbs. regularly. Must be at least 18 years of age.

Deli Lead in Training

Job Description:
Provide and model excellent professional customer service and mentor staff in this area. Develop skills and gain experience and understanding to oversee deli operations which includes both front of the house service, retail merchandising, and production cooking. Participate in department planning with coordinator, lead, and production specialist. This will include budgeting, product mix, and scheduling. Gain thorough knowledge of all deli products and deli services. Provide direction, supervision, and mentorship to deli staff.

Hours: 40 hours/week

Pay: $16.20+/hr, up to journey level, depending on experience

Prerequisites:
Proven ability to provide excellent professional customer service. Experience in retail operations including background and knowledge in prepared specialty foods and products. Some experience with supervising and training required. Experience in production cooking and recipe development preferred. Demonstrate organizational and planning skills. Computer knowledge and skills including Microsoft Office products. Ability to multitask on an ongoing basis. Excellent leadership, teambuilding and communication skills. Demonstrate creative thinking and problem solving skills. Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings and weekends. Must be able to meet physical demands including standing, bending, twisting, repetitive motion, and lifting 10–50lbs. regularly. Must be at least 18 years of age.
