P.M. Deli Helper Clerk
Job Description:
Provide excellent, professional customer service. Basic food preparation. Counter and barista service. Dishwashing and cleaning in the deli and production areas. Packaging and retail merchandising. Ensures department sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards are met. Becomes knowledgeable about deli products, specialty foods, baked goods and prepared foods.
Hours: 28-40 hours per week
Pay: $11.00+/hr, depending on experience
Prerequisites:
Proven ability to provide excellent, professional customer service. Available to work closing shifts (until 11:30pm) including weekends. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of specialty and prepared foods preferred. Excellent communication, organizational and multitasking skills. Must be able to meet physical demands of the job including standing, bending, twisting and lifting 10-50lbs. regularly. Must be at least 18 years of age.

Deli Clerk/Cook
Job Description:
Provides excellent, professional customer service. Produces prepared foods in accordance with PCC recipes. Ensures department sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards are met. Follows department safe food handling procedures. Follows department merchandising standards and procedures. Performs packaging duties. May be in charge of production tasks. May oversee other kitchen staff as assigned. Participates in recipe development and recipe costing. May perform ordering responsibilities.
Hours: 28-40 hours per week
Pay: $12.00+/hr, depending on experience
Prerequisites:
Proven ability to provide excellent, professional customer service. Availability to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends. At least 2 years of previous production cooking experience required. Familiarity with specialty and prepared foods. Excellent communication, organization and multitasking skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to meet physical demands including standing, bending, twisting, repetitive motion and lifting 10-50lbs. regularly.
