Great news! You helped make sure schools can source organic milk or rBGH-free milk!

You may recall that back in August, we told you about efforts of people around the country working to improve school food. We urged you to get involved with Food & Water Watch's campaign to rid school milk of rBGH - and it worked!

The USDA has made it clear that schools can purchase organic milk or milk that is free of artificial growth hormones. Read the new USDA guideline and learn more about the campaign victory.

Make sure the schools in your district are taking advantage of this - call and urge them to source non-rBGH and organic milk.

There's still more work to be done to make sure all school food is healthier and more sustainable ...
