Dear Advocate,

Please help us pass a landmark bill to label genetically engineered (GE) food. Washington wheat farmers who want GE foods labeled need our support.

Hearings are set next week in Olympia on two GE labeling bills: one before a Washington state Senate committee, another before a state House committee.

We need hundreds of people like you to show up and pack the chambers. You don't have to testify if you don't want to, just be there! You can bet Monsanto has flown in its forces from out-of-state to squash labeling, so we must outnumber them to carry the day.

Here's what you can do:
- Call your state senators and tell them to support Senate Bill 6298.

- Call your state representatives and tell them to support House Bill 2637.

- Attend the committee hearings to support our farmers.
