PCC Healthy Kids
PCC Healthy Kids is a multi-year initiative to improve local children's health through nutrition.
With childhood illnesses and obesity on the rise locally and throughout our nation, it is vital that our youngest generation makes the connection between what they eat each day and their health. We believe this can be achieved through awareness, education and, of course, consumption and enjoyment of healthier food choices.
PCC reaches out to children, parents, schools and our community in multiple ways with the goal of boosting awareness of the value of good nutrition. Our dedicated staff, vendors and key partner organizations including Seattle Parks and Recreation, Seattle Children's and Solid Ground are teaming up to teach healthy habits and to improve the diets of local children through numerous programs and events.
