Immune System Conditions

Immune system disorders include immunodeficiencies, in which—due to genetics, pharmaceutical side effects, or infections—the immune system is less active than normal. They also include autoimmune diseases, in which a hyperactive immune system attacks normal tissues as if they were foreign organisms.
