Big Day of Play

PCC once again joins forces with Seattle Parks and Recreation Department for Big Day of Play. Families will have the chance to try out a wide variety of activities the city’s community centers and parks have to offer. Activities will include a flag football tournament, kids run, 3-on-3 basketball, water sports, golf and dance.

Participants can earn a “PCC buck” for each activity they try, and redeem them for a sample of a nutritious food item such as roasted corn, salad, fresh fruit and iced tea. The Kid Picks Mobile also will be on-site to help kids assemble a healthy trail mix from scratch. Learn more at seattle.gov.
