Tilth Producers of Washington

With a goal of promoting organic agriculture in Washington state, Tilth Producers of Washington has helped pave the way for organic labeling and certification. While Tilth Producers primarily is a resource for farmers, PCC is happy to support its efforts as we recognize that Tilth Producers' work enables us to provide our customers with an abundance of locally grown, organic food.
For years, PCC has sponsored Tilth Producers' annual conference, which is comprised of workshops and speakers that focus on the latest developments in the organic industry, particularly pertaining to agriculture in Washington. PCC also sponsors Tilth Producers' quarterly journal, which is a publication designed for its members. Many of the local, organic growers who supply us with their fantastic produce belong to Tilth Producers of Washington.
In September 2010, to celebrate National Organic Harvest Month, Tilth Producers is holding its first annual Washington Organic Week, which PCC is proud to sponsor. The week is a statewide celebration of Washington organic agriculture, with events held around the Seattle area and beyond, including the Seattle Tilth Harvest Fair. The weeklong event was designed to help consumers connect with local growers and learn more about organics.
