Donate non-perishable products

All PCC stores collect nonperishable food or non-food items that are then directly donated to their neighborhood food banks. These are the most commonly needed items:

  • Canned proteins, such as tuna, peanut butter, beans and chicken
  • Canned vegetables and fruit
  • Baby food, infant formula and diapers
  • Canned prepared foods, such as chili or stew
  • Hot or cold cereals
  • Shelf-stable or powdered milk
  • Cooking oil
  • Dried foods, such as noodles, pasta and crackers
  • Toiletries, such as soap, toothpaste and toilet paper

Volunteer at a food bank packaging

Every other month, PCC purchases bulk food at wholesale prices and with the help of volunteers, packages it into family-sized portions for distribution at each partner food bank. Find a packaging party near you »
