Alki Beach 5K Run

Enjoy the sights and sounds of Alki Beach and the West Seattle waterfront on this 5K route from the Statue of Liberty at Alki Beach Park and the historic bathhouse, along the waterfront to Anchor Park. To support this event, PCC joins Northwest Hope and Healing, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping newly diagnosed breast cancer patients in the Puget Sound area. Donate books at three PCC stores

PCC has teamed up with Reading Tree, a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting children’s literacy by getting books into kids’ hands. Reading Tree collects used books and redistributes them to local schools and community centers in need.

Reading Tree will grind and recycle books that cannot be reused, preventing any donation from going to landfills. Donation bins will be located at PCC’s Redmond, View Ridge and West Seattle stores. For more information, visit www.readingtree.org.
