How to volunteer
Looking to have some fun while pitching in to support your co-op? PCC is currently looking for volunteers for our programs and events.
Throughout the year, help is needed for dozens of outreach activities including the PCC Food Bank Program.

Volunteering at PCC — we need you!
If you share our passion for people, the environment and healthy, naturally delicious foods we want to hear from you! We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities with varied time commitments. It's a great way to meet other members, learn new skills and actively make a positive contribution to your co-op.
A few of the ways you can contribute:
Become a PCC Cooks assistant.
These valuable volunteers help out at our cooking and lecture classes by acting as PCC hosts and assisting chefs to prepare and serve delicious meals! To sign up and attend a two-hour orientation, call 206-545-7112 or e-mail:
Participate in food bank packagings.
Each month, with donations, the PCC Food Bank Program purchases bulk food at wholesale prices and packages it into family-sized portions for distribution at our partner food banks. Packagings take place from 7 to 9 p.m. on various evenings. No special skills are required and even younger PCC volunteers enjoy the work and the opportunity to earn community service hours to meet school requirements. More opportunities
Many times each year, single- or short-term volunteers are needed. For example, you could help serve food at a community event, assist with landscaping around a store, manage bulletin boards, spearhead an issue-base program or set up a store volunteer event.
