As a local leader in conservation and sustainable business practices, PCC is proud to support the use of green power in our community. And, we've partnered with Puget Sound Energy and Seattle City Light to inform our shoppers about the benefits of purchasing green power through renewable energy sources.
Renewable energy is generated from unlimited resources like the sun, the wind and biomass. And, for as little as $3 to $4 per month, Puget Sound Energy and Seattle City Light customers can buy 200-kilowatt hours of energy from renewable sources in the Northwest — including the Stateline Wind Project on the Washington-Oregon border, and the Hanford Solar Facility in Oregon.
When you sign up for green power, you won't notice a difference in your electricity, but you'll be making a difference because some of the energy you purchase will come from clean, Earth-friendly resources.
